Socialpreneurship

Socialpreneur is a portmanteau word, meaning a social entrepreneur — Social entrepreneurship is an approach to business, where the vision and mission include outcome(s) related to social impact. This concept can apply to a wide range of businesses or organizations, which are “for-profit”.

Socialpreneurs who are members of The Dock: Centre for Social Change are gathering on Friday morning for a facilitated chat about socialpreneurship. There will be coffee and cookies!
Professional Grant Writers are examples of socialpreneurs, and Alison Edwards, of Edwards Technical Writing, is looking forward to chatting with a variety of other professionals who work in this space!
